‘Make my skin crawl!’: I want books that evoke different emotions, but I’m a slow reader with limited time. How can I start with easier reads?

Hey book lovers! So, I’m on the hunt for some books that’ll really make me feel some type of way. You know, whether it’s creepy, thought-provoking, heartwarming, or even just straight-up disturbing.

I’m pretty new to the whole reading thing, but a few books that really grabbed my attention were Project Hail Mary, Hidden Valley Road, and A Short Stay In Hell.

I’m not the fastest reader and I don’t have a ton of free time, so I’m looking for some easier reads to start with as I work on my reading skills.

I’m open to any genre, but I’m feeling the spooky vibes right now. I want a book that’ll give me chills and make my skin crawl!
