Hi there Book Lovers,
So, I’ve been diving into this whole Bookshots thing by James Patterson and other writers. I’ve gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. The concept of these short novels for $5 a pop was pretty cool. I mean, who doesn’t love a good deal on a quick read, am I right?
I wish there were more authors involved though. I mean, Patterson is great and all, but it would’ve been awesome to see a mix of genres from different voices. But hey, can’t complain too much when you’re getting a bargain.
As someone who’s always on the go, having a smaller book to toss in my bag is a lifesaver. And let’s be real, not everyone wants to lug around a huge novel. I’ve had friends ask me about book lengths before diving in, and trust me, a short read always gets their attention.
I’m honestly surprised other publishers haven’t hopped on this train yet. Short novellas in print, available at newsstands or airports, could really reel in more readers. It’s like a gateway drug to longer books, ya know?
I know I’m rambling a bit, but I’m super curious to hear what you all think about Bookshots and the idea of these mini novels making a big splash. Let’s chat about it!
Catch you later,
Page Turner
