I’m on the lookout for some books that are on the lighter side, with a bit of a spoopy vibe to balance out my heavy and dark reads. I’m really feeling those cozy autumn vibes and wouldn’t mind a touch of romance in the mix, but it’s not a deal-breaker. Ideally, I’d love for the story to take place in October or have Halloween as part of the setting. If not, a fall backdrop would still be perfect.
I’ve already enjoyed The Ex-Hex and currently diving into The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, although the winter setting is throwing off my autumn vibe. And I’ve got Payback’s a Witch on my list too.
But I’m open to more than just witchy tales. If you’ve got any other spooky, yet lighthearted recommendations for October reading, I’m all ears!
