“I just could not grasp the meaning of the poetry in Ariel. I feel like I’m missing something.”: Sylvia Plath’s Ariel left me utterly bewildered. What am I overlooking?

Hey there, I grabbed this poetry collection for Banned Books Week, but I couldn’t quite get into it.

I loved The Bell Jar, but Sylvia Plath’s poetry in Ariel just didn’t click for me. Any die-hard Plath fans out there who can shed some light on it for me?
