‘Encouraged her to scream so she could find her voice again’: I can’t remember the name of this Holocaust survivor book I read. Can you help me find it?

Hey there, I need some help finding a book I read a while back. It was all about this girl who survived the Holocaust by hiding in an attic for years. When the war ended, she was taken to the desert (?) and encouraged to scream to find her voice again. I’ve been trying to track down this book for ages but can’t remember the title. Any ideas?
